Wine Festival in the centre of Budapest, Eastertime

                                                                                                                                                                          
23-25th of April 2011.
Adddress: Városháza park (just behind the City Hall, near “Deák tér” metro stop
(Deák tér is the the only meeting point of the 3 metro lines of Budapest.)
No entrance fee.

You can taste a lot of good Hungarian wines.
The most famous exhibitors: Bock winery, Gere, Polgár from Villány and also winemaker of the year 2007: Frittmann brothers.
Spring Wine Festival is an opportunity to present the growing culture of wine-drinking to the people of Budapest as well as visitors to our city. It is also a chance for the wine producers and sellers to present their wares to the wine audience especially as the festival coincides with both Easter and the Budapest Spring Festival.

    Thanks for the info. I visited the Borfestival in the Buda Castle last September which was also great. Will put this one in my agenda. Thanks,
